Hey all, we miss playing as much as you miss going and we'll be back on the scene ready to rock shortly.

There's definitely been some rumors about what's going on with us, so we thought we'd clear up and preview what's going down:

1. Derik IS AT SCHOOL and out of comission for playing for awhile. But don't worry, he'll be back soon.

2. Donovan IS NOT DEAD. He's just working a new job with crazy hours and we never get to see him anymore.

3. Dave and Jeremy ARE STILL PLAYING and are as of this moment putting together a BRAND NEW project with Ms. Amanda Bailey. She's amazing and you're gonna love the new music she and the boys bring to the table.

Just to let you all plan ahead, this Friday at Mallie's Sports Grill and Bar will be their 1 year Anniversary BLOWOUT! That means games, girls, drinks, and of course good times with the Kung-Fu Jockeys. This will be the party of the summer from what I hear, so make your way down on Friday night and we'll see you there!!!

Alright everyone, it's finally August and the heat outside is absolutely ridiculous...but just remember summer IS coming to an end. That means the Jockey's will be back to rocking on a weekly basis VERY soon. A couple things we wanted to point out:

1. This Thursday's benefit show at Monterey - ALL BEATLES AND STONES!!! Come see us, Chelsea Taube, The Lessmores, and The Magnolias tear up some classics for a great cause.

2. We're gonna be back to playing a lot of shows this fall again... Between Monterey, Mallie's, and Little Dublin's, we're all over the place. KEEP CHECKING THE CALENDAR! We'll be adding all the time.

3. Last. Some news for all the Derek Nykiel fans out there. Derek made the cut for U of D Dental school this fall, so we'll be bringing in a lot of special guests to fill Derek's shoes from time to time when he can't make the shows. MORE ON THAT TO COME LATER!
